President William Tompkins Teacher Retirement System of Texas 512-542-6787 William is Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Coordinator at Teacher Retirement System of Texas. He has more than 23 years of technical, managerial and consulting experience in information technology and more than 15 in information security and business continuity. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Certified Business Continuity Professional.
William joined the Association of Contingency Planners in 1996; member of Capital of Texas Chapter up to present. In 2002, elected to the Chapter Board of Directors. Completed Risk Management Certificate Program (Managing Safety Risk in the Workplace, Property Risk Management and Managing Organizational Risks) at the University of Texas at Austin Division of Continuing Education. Conference Chair/Co-Chair for eight business continuity/ information security conferences from 1996 to present. Past President Kristina Brady Texas Office of the Attorney General 512-736-1277 Kris
has been in the Business Continuity field since 1999. She has
conducted BIA’s, facilitated exercises, developed Business
Continuity plans and lead various other projects related to a Business
Continuity program. She earned a B.S. from San Diego State
University and a MBA from Pepperdine University. She has been a
member of ACP since 2004 and served on the board as Program Director
for the Capital of Texas Chapter in 2007.
A large part of her volunteer experience has been with Amnesty International where she founded and organized conferences and events. She has been involved with Amnesty since 1991. Program Director Andalib Aziz 469-348-6261 Andalib is IT Compliance Manager with Bridgepoint Consulting, Austin based Management Consulting Firm. Working mostly with compliance projects such as Sarbanes Oxley compliance, SAS70 readiness, and PCI Compliance, Andalib has also managed a number of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning projects and other specialized IT security projects. Andalib holds a MS degree in Software Engineering and also hold the following certifications CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, MCSE, CCNA, and ITIL.

Barry Jucha is the Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) Enterprise IT Disaster Recovery Manager. He was the Disaster Recovery Manager for the Department of Human Services prior to the consolidation of 12 independent agencies under the umbrella of the HHSC. He has chaired the HHSC interagency Disaster Recovery Steering Committee and coordinates the Continuity of Operations Planning program set forth by the Texas governor.
Barry oversees disaster recovery contract compliance of multiple contracted companies such as IBM, Unisys, Northrop Grumman, Convergys and more. He has conducted multiple disaster recovery exercises and has participated in several multi-county Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) exercises. Barry is a registered EMT under the Department of State Health Services and Austin /Travis County Emergency Medical Services. He is the Public Information Officer and Treasurer for the Motorcycle Special Events (MSET), A registered First Responder Organization with the State of Texas. MSET provides EMS & Emergency Communications for charitable events by motorcycle. In addition, Barry is an FCC licensed Amateur Radio Operator (HAM Radio) Treasurer Leandra Martinez Texas Department of Transportation 512-416-3053 Leandra oversees and coordinates business continuity planning for the Texas Department of Transportation and is actively involved in the development of the department's functional and business unit plans. She has a BA from Kent State University and a MBA from St. Edward's University. Leandra joined the Capital of Texas Chapter of ACP in 2004.

has worked in both managerial and technical positions of Business
Resumption/Disaster planning, Information Security as well as directing
IT organizations. Harris has over 28 years experience in IT, have
a BBA from UT and a MBA from St. Edwards University. He regularly
gives blood and has achived 19 gallons in donations.
Publicity Director Scott Willrich Texas Municipal Retirement System 512-225-3721 Scott is the Director of Information Resources at Texas Municipal Retirement System. He has worked for TMRS for the past nineteen years, serving the past twelve directing both the Information Systems and Records Management Departments. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin as well as an MBA from Texas State University. He has been involved in disaster recovery / business continuity since 1999 and served on the board of the Austin ARMA chapter as president, vice president, and programs chair.
Strategic Alliance Melody Nunn CBCP 512-344-3933 Melody
has been deeply involved in Business Continuity for the last 17
years. Instrumental in the development of EDS’ Continuity
offering, led dozens of domestic and international Risk Analysis and
Business Impact Analysis and plan development efforts. ACP board
member and American Red Cross volunteer for 5 years.
